Set in 1938, "Saving Starbird" is an unusual adventure story following the exploits of two thirteen year old children who are thrown together by a succession of weird and unexplainable events. These start for Sally and Archie when they are happily playing on a sunny Devon beach, but then, without warning they are plunged into contact with a strange and frightening hidden world.
