In diesem Werk wird ein visuell-basiertes Verfahren zur Rekonstruktion der Trajektorie einer omnidirektionalen Kamera anhand von Bildpaaren vorgestellt und untersucht. Für die Umsetzung wird eine Abstraktion des Kamerasystems durchgeführt, um das Verfahren möglichst unabhängig vom genutzen Kamerasystem zu machen. Der Kern des Verfahrens besteht aus einer Komponente zur Ermittlung der Essentiellen Matrix. Hierfür werden die bekannten Verfahren des 5- und 8-Punkt-Algorithmus genutzt. Zur Rekonstruktion der Metrik wird die Odometrie einer mit dem Kamerasystem fest verbundenen mobilen Plattform genutzt - andere Möglichkeiten werden skizziert. Das erstellte Verfahren wird im Bereich der simultanen Lokalisierung und Kartenerstellung (SLAM) eingeordnet und in Hinsicht auf den Einsatz im Bereich der Service-Robotik untersucht.
