What is the role of nuclear weapons in the post cold war world? Recent confrontations in the Persian Gulf and on the Korean peninsula suggest that the control of those weapons will continue to be an important international issue. This collection of essays explores the relationship between the United States and an older nuclear 'maverick,' India.
