Eighty years ago the Michigan Railroad Commission published a book detailing the construction of the state's railroads to that time. Meints has now compiled the sequel to the 1919 edition, including the development, ownership, and mileage of the state's rail system. Michigan Railroad Lines covers each of Michigan's "steam" and electric railroads, detailing every main and branch line of every railroad corporation that operated in the state by giving the stations and mileage of each.
