Sieben Jahre nach Fertigstellung der »Tomba Brion« hatte der bekannte Münchner Architekturfotograf Klaus Kinold Gelegenheit, diese besondere Begräbnisstätte fotografisch zu erkunden. In überlegt gebauten Bildern in Schwarz-Weiß, aber auch in subtilen Farben schildert er einen entrückten Ort, der unsere Vorstellung vom Werden und Vergehen in eine große, gebaute Symbolik übersetzt.
