On July 24,1977, a small plane with 3 passengers was travelling from Galveston, Texas, to Springhill, Louisiana. The pilot was experienced, and it was a trip they had all taken before. But, today would be different. As the plane passed over the piney woods of East Texas, something went terribly wrong. The plane began to sputter and shake violently.
