The rush over the last ten years to democratize§technology in higher education by pouring vast sums§of money into the systematic development of§technological infrastructures seems to have surpassed§the ability of educational institutions to affect the§successful transfer of skill and technological know§how into the traditional classroom. The new goal in§higher education now seems to be the creation of a§university-wide professoriate in both information and§technology literacy. However, technology alone does§nothing to enhance pedagogy; successful integration§is about the ways in which technology tools are used§and integrated into teaching. Successful integration§of technology into pedagogy depends upon four primary§areas: technological infrastructure, technology§literacy, technology training, and the development of§hybrid courses. This, of course, means that faculty§must be trained in the use of the tools not just§given access to the tools integrating new software§into pedagogy as part of an interactive teaching and§learning strategy. Faculty, Researchers, IT members,§and Administrators will find this study useful for§digital technology development and faculty training
