Recent advances in wireless communications involve using multiple antennas for the transmission and reception of signals, which known as MIMO networks. One of the first and most popular MIMO codes is Orthogonal Space-Time Block codes. Different types of information can be transmitted through MIMO networks using Orthogonal block codes. Of particular interest is the transmission of multicast information, where groups of users receive the same information while other groups receive different information. Assigning different information or different quality of service to different groups started to have commercial value. One way to achieve this is to use nonuniform phase shift key codes for the modulation of different information into a single carrier, which is to be transmitted in MIMO networks with Orthogonal block codes. In this work, we address this scenario providing a detailed study of the different codes used for the modulation and transmission of the signal. A complete analysis of the performance of the system in terms of probability of error is provided. The book is useful to professionals in wireless Communications and Signal Processing fields.
