The State of the World's Cities Report 2012/13 issued by the UN-Habitat aims to analyze prosperity of cities so as to improve one's understanding of how cities create it and spread it. Prosperity implies success, wealth, thriving, well-being and good fortune. When applied to cities or urban areas, prosperity refers to notions that are also emphasized, in this book, as sub-themes like Quality of life, Productivity, Infrastructure, Equity, and Environmental Sustainability for the Muharraq City in Bahrain. The Questionnaire is part of a policy assessment that was implemented in selected cities within the developing countries. Results reflected opinions of stakeholders in the city and the Questionnaires had been selected from community associations, non-governmental and civil society groups, the media, lawyers, urban planners, municipal officials and the business sector. The Questionnaire had followed the same five thematic dimensions of Prosperity including the local institutional and organizational that associated with the creation of prosperity and its sustainability.
