It points out some of the things our little children try to teach us when they first start to learn to read. It shows some of the illogical and horrible things that we do to them as developing readers; things that do not even enter our minds as being of any consequence. It points out the staggering costs at state and federal levels that are yielding little improvement in our children's reading abilities.
