The present volume offers contributions from a representative group of prominent scholars from diverse backgrounds and interests in the areas of Classical, Patristic, and Biblical studies. The papers focus on changes occurring in (sacred) texts on various levels of textual history (copying, editing, and translating) and the intentional and unintentional reasons for these changes.
