Arrangement and Entry. - The works listed in this catalog are entered under title and arranged alphabetically together with cross references from the authors, editors, compilers, etc. The entry in/ eludes, in addition to the title, the names of the authors, illustrators, editors, etc., the number of the volumes and series, and for motion pictures the num' ber of parts or reels. For periodicals each title is followed by a statement of the volumes, the issue numbers and dates of issue. Whenever the renewed work is part of a collection or a periodical the title and issue date of the larger work is given. Copyright Data. - The portion of the entry giving the facts of copyright registration begins with the copyright symbol and consists of the date of original copyright, original registration number, rex newal registration number, date of receipt of renewal application, name of renewal claimant, and basis of renewal claim.
