Agricultural extension service providers play a ve crucial role on the actual practices undertaken by farmers in a given area. The use of agrochemicals to increase production is one such practice. Indiscriminate use of agro- chemicals usually results to adverse environmental consequences in the long run. However,Agro-chemicals may still be used for increased crop production for as long as the practices ensure environmental protection and sustainable agriculture.
